Mindest and a clear Desk
Mindset is everything and the environment you live/work in every day has a massive impact on your overall health and wellbeing. I'm quite lucky in the aspect of being able to work at home at this time and I recently had a massive desk change and I cannot tell you how much this has put me in a better mood. 



How my desk looks today

You see the thing about this change that has made the best impact of having a refreshed clean/organised desk is it makes you feel satisfied. Have you ever cleaned your room and your mind physically feels better for not seeing the huge mess on the floor? It really bothers me when things aren't organised, I just can't concentrate. I'm sure many of you share the same experience, and if you don't you must have an amazing ability to not care.

So what I first did was remove all the post-it notes from my wall which included notes for work and for my projects I am working on. Simply put, it was stressing me out that they were all over the place and not doing anything there on the wall. Instead, I have now put my whiteboard up on my wall and I write empowering affirmations on it to remind myself I am an incredible person and deserve great things/opportunities. 

Secondly, I then moved all my work equipment to the right-hand side giving me the left-hand side to put many of my other important stuff handy for me. This includes photos in frames, a plant that I got for my birthday, my supplements and my notebooks. This is a must for me, by surrounding my self with the stuff I love and can easily access it puts me in such a better mood. I also put some work papers in the gap under my desk so I can still access it quickly but it's not the first thing I see when I start my day.

Having a better working environment/workspace encourages you to create a culture of keeping your workspace organised and clean and it's the best thing you can do have a happy work-life balance at home. 

It is so beneficial to have a spacious organised desk as it improves your efficiency and use of time. You don't have to spend time rummaging around for things that may not even be on your desk. I don't know about you but when I have to go through things to find something I need right this second it stresses me the hell out and does not put me in a good mood. I'm rushed, I'm stressed, I get heated. 

Clear desk = less clutter = less stress. It makes you feel positive, content and fulfilled. Powerful.

Lastly, I would like to add that it inspires confidence and really gives a good impression on how you plan and work. A clean desk means zero distraction and more productivity. You attract more of what you put out, remember that.
