Habits you need in your life

Not getting results?

Are you willing to work hard to get to where you want to be?

It can be a struggle, I get I've been there and still have those days but there are a few habits you can incorporate to get many results you are looking for.

Habit 1 - wake up early

It's proven that waking up earlier is so beneficial for you.

You are ahead of the game, most people get up late and rush around or take 10 minutes to get ready when they are no way prepared for the day.

Getting up early is your advantage, getting ahead of everyone else.

Game Changer.

You have more time to work on your fitness, your business plan, your blog or anything else that you are working on.

I personally prefer getting ahead of the game by working on things in the evening but whether your an early riser worker or you prefer doing it in the evening getting up early you can get many things done you wouldn't usually.

Habit 2 - Journal

Use your morning/evening or both to write things down.

Write about your day.

Write your visions and goals.

Write your daily/weekly plans, use a spreadsheet tick anything off and get anything that comes to mind written down.

Even if its just thoughts you are holding on to and can't tell anyone else.

Write that shit down.

Journaling is so good for your mental health.

Habit 3 -  Exercise

It's a no brainer that exercise makes you feel good.

Endorphins make you a happier person.

It relieves stress and with effort gives you great results.

Most importantly it feels good mentally and physically.

Whether you stretch or do yoga or a full-body workout with weights, getting it in does wonders for you.

Start small and work your way into it.

Too many people give up because they get achy or they have no discipline/motivation.

Motivation is short term, it's never going to make you do something every damn day.

That my friend is discipline.

Habit 4 -Drink plenty of Water

Recently I have learnt that my health is very very important and I've been neglecting it.

I could say I have been neglecting it for years without even noticing it.

For a while, I've had let's say an 'addiction' to fizzy drinks.

Let's be specific, Coca-cola.

I can imagine you now having a good old laugh, but it's true.

I used to drink it all day every day pretty much.

It's full of so much sugar and I didn't even realise how bad it was until I physically felt sluggish in the afternoons or if I didn't drink it.

On my time off from work, I have tried to wringle off of it. I've done it before but still get entwined into it every time.

Safe to say I have gone a few days without a drop haha.

There are by far other reasons why I should drink water and look after my health but this is one of them.

Drinking water replenishes you, hydrates you makes you feel amazing and for 1 it has reduced the number of spots I get on my face. Winner.

Habit 5 - Read

I am passionate about learning something new and reading is the best thing you can do.

You can read fiction but I find nonfiction to be the best.

I love reading anything personal growth-wise.

Anything that gives me the opportunity to learn about something excites me.

There's nothing better than furthering your knowledge, it can only better yourself.

My book recommendations are:

Jack Cranfield - The Success Principles. How To Get From Where You Are To Where You Need To Be

Mark Manson - The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fuck

Daniel Chidiac - Who Says You Can't You Do

Jen Sincero - You Are A Bad Ass

James Clear - Atomic Habits

Hal Elrod - The Miracle Morning

Steve Peters - The Chimp Paradox

Hope these habits and book recommendations encourage you to incorporate some goodness into your life.

Love T

xx
