Gratitude Review 2020

in , , by Tracey Patient, December 27, 2020

What are you thankful for?

It's almost the end of the year.

Now is a good time to reflect on the year we have had.

It's been tough for sure, but there have been plenty of good moments too.

It's time to get comfortable and reflect on the last 12 months.

How has your year been?

Jot this all down in a journal, writing it down means you can always revisit your thoughts.

What are your biggest high lights?

What lessons have you learned?

What people have inspired you?

What places have you visited if any?

The most important one: What are you most grateful for?

We as a society often forget to be thankful.

Thankful for the air reaching our lungs.

Thankful for we have another opportunity at life today.

Thankful for the sun beaming down on our faces.

We always forget the little things surrounding us.

It's time to take a moment for ourselves and sit in silence and think.

Our minds are so powerful if we only stop and think.

Take a few moments now to do so.

Honestly just reflecting daily is so good for you.

This year has gone so quickly considering the year we have had.

Some people have had it harder than others, but being grateful in the moment is so pure and is what a lot of us need.

You may have lost a loved one this year, but being grateful they are at peace. Or being grateful maybe they taught you a valuable lesson?

This year has definitely taught us as a whole that family and loved ones are so important and we often take them for granted.

Really think about the little things that often don't cross your mind twice.

Write down at least 5 things you are grateful/thankful for that make you who you are today over the course of the last 12 months.

If you can write more than that then that's brilliant, but just writing something down can really clear your head and appreciate the year you've had.

I'd really recommend getting a journal for 2021 also so you can keep reflecting either on your day, your week, your month and of course your year.

It's an amazing source to clear your head, making you feel lighter and brighter for the shining star you all are.

Remember no one is perfect but just giving yourself the time of day and being thankful for you, and others and the things in your life are so powerful.

Have a nice end to 2020.

Love T
